Given that most public transport (buses, trains, airplanes, etc.) is blocked?
.. most of the deaths and injuries are caused by passengers being thrown forward at full speed on impact, do not you think that all seats must be installed facing back-ing?
They are in some older vehicles. (Sampson, VC10) in the RAF. I said they were looking back seats for years, But people complained, it is not as aesthetically pleasing to face backwards, so the airlines decided to face the seats toward from then onwards. VC10 I have flown several times in a very strange and takeoff and landing backwards, but I'm not too worried about him. I have a partner that is afraid of flying (and she is in the Royal Air Force!). She says she prefers her face back, as she knows it is safer.
