"Contact" is an interesting film about the search and eventual discovery of extraterrestrial life. Arroway Jodie Foster plays Ellie, a young scientist obsessed with the search. She delivers great performance, like Matthew McConaughey as Palmer Joss, her boyfriend religious. I especially like the film's story without However, based on the fiction novel of the same title by Carl Sagan.
The film concerns Arroway Ellie (Jodie Foster), a young scientist interested in contacting extraterrestrial civilizations. Despite repeated efforts by the director to close the project and cancel his research eventually discovers a signal clear from an intelligent source nearby star system Vega, is the first several prime numbers. After investigating this further signal, other now working on the project reveals a more complex message embedded in the first, which happens to be a video recording of the opening of Adolf Hitler in 1936 Olympics Summer in Berlin. At first, researchers are horrified, but Ellie realizes that this was probably the first televised message powerful enough to be picked up by an alien civilization. Upon further investigation, a third layer of the message is found, it consists of thousands of pages of code indecipherable at first. Billionaire industrial SR Hadden (John Hurt) Ellie finally steps and shows how to decrypt the message, that is a model of a machine whose purpose is unknown.
Eventually the team learns part of the purpose of the machine, which includes a seat for a human passenger, presumably that person Vega. This results in a major international effort to build the machine, whose construction began in Cape Canaveral, Florida. A religious fanatic suicide bomber sabotaging the project ends by destroying the machine. Fortunately, another identical machine is being built secretly in Japan, and Ellie is invited to take the trip.
Once completed, the boards Ellie the machine, it starts working. This leads him through a series of wormholes that witnesses some fantastic events. Finally, we consider that what looks like a family beach, which is visited by an alien who looks like her father when she was a child. Abroad Ellie explains some of the details of their civilization as well as the transit system wormhole that took her there.
