Is there any reason why jet engines blades turn left?
Is there any particular aerodynamic/technical reason for why all turbo jet engines blades rotate clockwise?
Does that also cause all aircrafts to likely turn slightly left while taking off on the runway? I have almost always felt rudder correction by the pilot even during non-wind starts.
They don’t – I have a gas turbine that rotates anti-clockwise when viewed from the intake end.
It’s just that particular manufacturers are tooled up to make blades in a particular orientation so they just carry on throughout their ranges.
