Help to find the name of a 1990 toy line?
I am looking for the name of a line of toy line was launched in the late 1990. Its similar to Transformers, but its not actually part of the series. Basically, the line I remember is the four planes, each sold separately, which representing a plane as an F-14, but when pressed the tail of the nose cone open to reveal teeth and the wings have split and have claws on the end. Man I had was white with zebra stripes, and I remember being a black man too. Apparently, there were other vehicles involved in the toy line, one Purple Monster truck that had teeth and a hook on the back. Is supposed to be a fusion between a rat and a truck. None of the vehicles become increasingly totally, you just have teeth or claws. I've looked and looked, and have not had results. I do not know their GoBots or Beastmasters, or anything like that. If anyone can help with just the name is impressive. Thanks!
I remember this line of toys too! And I've tried looking myself, but for the life of me I can not remember. I know he had the six-wheeled robot with the mandibles of the insect. It was pretty impressive. I also remember something about the official background story that toys were the result of radioactive elements in the jungles of Africa or something?
