Does anyone know where I can get financial assistance for small aircraft to continue flying?
I have 55 years of age and my dream finally fulfilled to obtain a private pilot license and instrument rating. I am now retired and has no money to fly or to stay current. My wife and I love to fly up southern Virginia to visit our son, and fly for fun. I can not afford a loan and was hoping that someone knows where I can find help. Please help. I wanted to fly airplanes since I was 10 years. of age. Now that I've finally comleted that goal I would like to go a bit further. My health is very good but I can not pay $ 115.00 to $ 135.00 per hour for rental of aircraft. I qualify to fly Cessna 172SP Skyhawks 180 hp. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
